TRAVEL ADVICE

Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Please telephone reception to book an appointment. 

Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

Travel Vaccination Prices

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Payment for non-NHS services must be made in advance.

Vaccines ADMINISTRATION Charges Payable to the Practice:

Hepatitis B (course 3 doses)

£65 per dose or £195 for 3 doses

ACWY Vac includes certificate

£90.00

Rabies

£125 per dose (usually 3 required)
 
 
Yellow fever and Tick-borne Encephalitis vaccinations are not provided in the surgery but are available from specialist travel clinics.
